The Trust's Centers:

Clean Cities of Middle Tennessee (CCMT) is a Nashville based organization dedicated to helping our region and our nation curb it's reliance on foreign oil and use clean, domestic alternatives. Since its inception in 2001, CCMT has helped displace hundred of thousands of gallons of petroleum. Conservative estimates place the number of displaced gallons at almost a million. CCMT is a partnership between the US Department of Energy, state and local governments and private industry. CCMT is one of 80 Clean Cities organizations set up nationwide to help expand the use of alternatives to petroleum and educate communities on the benefits of using alternative fuels.

West Tennessee Clean Cities Coalition was created to help reduce our nation’s dependence on high carbon fuels and improve air quality by advancing the use of energy efficient technologies and cleaner burning, domestically produced renewable energy. The WTCCC is following a pattern established by the U.S. Dept. of Energy (DOE), and it is our goal to achieve official “Clean Cities” designation from DOE.

Kilowatt Ours empowers communities to improve America’s environment, health and economy by educating and inspiring people to conserve energy and choose renewable power.

Blessed Earth actively engages faith communities in caring for the earth. They do this through grassroots outreach to churches, campuses, and media, speaking at more than 100 churches and 50 campuses throughout the country in the last year. Descendants Day! The Center for Intergenerational Justice and Equity is committed to justice and equity for all the generations to come after us on this planet. We have created a model for renewing this commitment with Descendant's Day! Here in the United States, by congressional proclamation, Descendant's Day! is the last Sunday in June every year. We envision it to be a time each year to foster love of our neighbor today, and to renew our pledge to our descendants to re-nourish their inheritance; leaving them a decent world with decent people in it.
